Lady Gaga is a hermaphrodite? Not.

She's calling the rumours ‘ridiculous’. 

“I'm not offended, my vagina is offended.”

She's so "full"down there, that I can't believe it. There's more photos to proof my point.

I have never once thought that Lady Gaga was beautiful, hot or sexy but not because the fact that she's hermaphrodite. Remember, I didn't even know it till today. Some of her facial features just resemble that of a man's and I can't help but think that only quirky dressings can save her. Kermit the frog and all that red lace from head to toe, I am really not getting her fashion style.

For now, I shall just go to bed and stop thinking whether Lady Gaga has an undeveloped penis co-existing with her vagina. (I don't care if her vagina is offended.)

Spent some time trying to wake up this morning because I wake up at 1300 on average these few days. Having to wake up at 1030 is a chore, in the end only climb out of bed at 1120. In the end was late meeting Jeanette at Tampines MRT station. She was late for 10 minutes too from the meeting time btw.

Met the rest, Xinyi Kamy Benedict Daryl Daniel Wencong Zhengkai for lunch at Suntec City Swensen's. Arcade at Marina Square, won all the daytona's race, HA! Pool for the rest while I went shopping uncontrollably. I am so not interested in playing pool, but went back to capture some photos.



The guys had dinner @ KFC and we walked to Singapore Flyer! ^_^

There was a OMFG moment in my room just now with the printer. My Dajie asked me to print her notes, and I only printed the odd pages first. She thought I clicked the double-sided properties and pressed resume. Out came a photo of a boy's back facing the camera with a building and water feature in the background. Obviously we freaked out, dropped the paper and shout like no business. Until..

My Erjie came and said, " Chey, that one is my project de photo la! " Bursts of laughter, HAHAHA.

Started watching an anime series, Hayate the Combat Butler, yesterday. Love these two upbeat songs!

I'm here for the new era of Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam. This is just the way that I describe when I'm finally free from those books, at least for now until extension week.

Caught (500) days of summer on Friday with my sister @ Orchard. Before that, went for dinner @ ION Swensens. Seriously, I can't stand my sister being a street idiot and saying that I am. (D) How many times did I tell her that it was not there and here, countless. That Swensens was so hidden into the "tunnel" that we took nearly 15 minutes to find it.

I didn't know it was going to be so freaking funny and was practically smiling to myself through the entire movie.

Best part when we reached home, my sister showed me the photos that she took with the Vistaquest. Goodness, those pictures she took of me, there's no head no tail. Whereas I'm the pro who knows how to use the camera.

She said, "要有accident 才美"
I said, "屁lo, 明明就是你不会用!"

“Hungry Ghost Festival”译成“饿鬼节” 学生的双语“半桶水”？

七年前，本地的华文旅游宣传册子将中元节译成“匈牙利鬼节”，闹了笑话。如今，适逢中元节，《逗号》测试一些学生的翻译结果显示，“Hungry Ghost Festival”变成了“饿鬼节”或“恶鬼节”，依旧“鬼影幢幢”，让人惊心。

前阵子，在“绿色交通周”的开幕仪式上竖立的环保告示牌，出现了一些翻译上的错误，引发议论。第31期《逗号》让20名中二到初级学院的学生进行一个小测试，翻译“绿色交通周”出现的英文告示牌和一些节日名称。8道题中，没有学生全对。这些学生如何看待自己的中英文水平，他们要如何掌握好双语能力？

据报章报道，“Hungry Ghost Festival”译成“饿鬼节”学生的双语“半桶水”。读了这篇报道后，我感到震惊及失望,所谓的半桶水意思指的是装了一半，远远未满，但是摇晃起来确是“咕咚咕咚”地响，好像说“懂了懂了”。学生的双语“半桶水”实在是要不得，也是现今竞争力强大的社会所不能容忍的。更何况学生，换句话说青少年，是国家未来的栋梁，身为国家的栋梁又怎能只掌握“半桶水”程度的双语?

学生的双语程度不理想一定有背后隐藏的原因。第一，学生缺乏上进心。一旦对谋样东西感到无趣及厌烦，就算是生活中不可或缺的双语，也会将被忽略。很多年轻少年至今都不了解自己处于的社会，认为双语根本一点都不重要，甚至认为只要精通一种语言就可以走天下。但是他们并不知道其实一种语言不能够帮助你在工作上存活，导致你严重地落后。在这样的情况下，保持一个优良的上进心极为重要犹如说话的艺术，没有了它你就会少了多一样致命的武器。

第二，学生从小到大很可能只生活在一个只使用一种语言的环境。在这样的环境生长一定会给学生带来一些负面的影响。父母亲在这一方面扮演的角色对孩子来说是有作用的。例如，父母亲与孩子只用英语来勾通，久而久之孩子对华语的接触会越来越少。小孩子的语文能力是需要从小培养，同时也要教导他们语文的历史文化才能让他们对语言产生更深的兴趣。

学生拥有“半桶水”的双语能力会带来不堪设想的后果。第一，如果这个趋势持续地下去，将来的后裔也会有同样的问题存在。当没有人去纠正问题的话,问题不会自然而然地消失得无影无踪。让下一代的子孙有多样化的选择对他们来说也是一种优势。既然新加坡政府正在极力推广双语文化，为何新加坡人却无法接纳呢？为了解决问题，我们必须立即行动，不能一再地拖延。

第二，学生们长大后在工作时，和其他国家的人竞争一定会吃亏。因为不只是新加坡人讲求双语文化，很多国家也采用了这一系列的政策希望能够提高国家的竞争力。既然如此，身为竞争者，当其他人正在努力地进步，我们也必须“怕输”加快脚步更上一层楼。海外的市场非常庞大，不只是美国，就连中国与印度都在飞速地增长。如果只精通一种语言，在海外的话一定会被人吃得连骨头都不剩。

为了更进一步推广双语文化，社会，家庭和个人都有责任。第一，政府已提出推行双语文化相关政策。虽然新加坡在双语政策上在过去几十年中取得进展，许多新加坡人精通英语和华语，但是并不代表着每一个人也如此。学习和掌握双语，对大多数人来说是件极其困难的事。加强学校的华文报章教学，成立“新加坡华文教研中心”，提升全体华文教师的教学水平，开发新的华文教学法等都是现今所在进行的政策。

在家时，父母亲应该鼓励孩子们多使用双语来沟通。同样地，身为父母也应该成为孩子的榜样勤练双语，在孩子的面前会显得比较有说服力。家里也应订购报刊，培养孩子读报的习惯。读报可以提高语言水平同时也能够增广知识，是一件一石二鸟的好事。收看电视节目学习也是其中一个好办法，但是要学习适可而止，不要让它成为一个坏习惯。通过电视节目能够激发学生们对语言的认识以及在轻松的环境下学习。这样以来可以得到事半功倍的效果。

总而言之，一切都掌握在自己的手中，只有自己才能够了解自己想要的是什么，渴望追求的是什么。只要努力，没有什么是不可能的。把这半桶水不断地增加它的水位，桶总有一天一定会满。就算是“吃马铃薯”长大的孩子，都有可能成为精通双语的天才。
